Our 2026 Cathedral Concert Series continues with our annual “Patriotic Concert” & Patriotic Mass scheduled for June 27th. The Our Patriotic Mass will be at 4:00 PM followed by a Patriotic Concert at 5:30 PM. Mark your calendars, plan to attend and bring family and friends!

WORLD YOUTH VINCENTIANS DAY Please join us on Tuesday, June 30th, as we celebrate World Youth Vincentians Day. Nativity BVM Cathedral's St. Vincent de Paul Society will be hosting a special Mass in the Chapel at 8AM, followed by an opportunity for our youth to volunteer with StVdP members and learn more about our society. REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN for the 2026-2027 Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (O.C.I.A.) now through September 1st! The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults is an invitation for adults to explore their interests, or to enhance their knowledge in the Roman Catholic Church. The O.C.I.A. lays out a process in which men and women are guided and cared for as they awaken in faith and are gradually introduced to the Catholic way of life. The Nativity Parish will begin O.C.I.A. classes in the Fall. Participants will meet weekly for nine months in the Sacred Heart Center. The Marian Chapel Reliquary will be open for visits on Fridays in June and July from 8:30 until 10:30. Anyone wishing to view the relics or spend time in prayer among the saints, is welcome to come. Volunteers will be present to answer questions or help with finding information about the relics or cathedral. Questions can be directed to [email protected].

Ladies Arise Weekend will be held Saturday June 13th beginning at 8:00am through Sunday June 14th ending around 3:00 pm at the Seashore Assembly Center on the beach in Biloxi at 1410 Leggett Drive. Arise is sponsored by the Cursillo Movement of South Mississippi, another program of the Diocese of Biloxi. Beginning this weekend, we will have Father’s Day Mass cards available in the back of the Cathedral for you to use. We will also have them available in the office. Please return the large envelope with the names of those Fathers to be remembered so the Mass intentions may be kept on the altar during the month of June.

On behalf of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal of South Mississippi and St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, we are pleased to share with you an invitation to the Third Annual Diocesan-wide Pentecost Celebration and Prayer Gathering on Saturday, May 23, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m., to be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Long Beach. Our hope is to extend this invitation across the Diocese so that many may come together to celebrate Pentecost as one faith community. This special celebration will be led by Bishop Louis F. On Thursday, May 21st, Nativity BVM Elementary will celebrate the Class of 2026 with the School’s Annual Graduation Mass Celebration in the Cathedral at 10 a.m. Everyone is invited to attend. Please check the Nativity BVM Cathedral website or bulletin for additional information.

All Graduates are invited to attend a mass of celebration on Sunday May 17th at 9 AM in the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cathedral in Biloxi. Nativity B.V.M. Cathedral will hold our Vacation Bible School June 22- 26, 2026, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon daily. Click here to see more details! The participant ages: Rising 1st graders - Rising 6th graders (just completed Kindergarten - 5th grade). Cost: $30 per child. Volunteers needed!!!! Rising 7th graders through Adults are welcome to join us and volunteer for 1 day or all 5 days! Get your volunteer hours!

Our church cleaning teams clean the church once a month. It just takes a few hours of your time. Many of our volunteers have been on a team for years and they do a wonderful job, but one of our four teams is unable to volunteer anymore and WE NEED NEW VOLUNTEERS. The Marian Chapel will be open on Holy Thursday, April 2, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for anyone who would like to spend some quiet time in prayer among the saints. Volunteers will open the doors and be present if you have questions about the reliquary. All are invited.

Please consider sending in your Easter Flower donations along with the names of your loved ones. We will pray for each one this Easter. We have provided Easter Flower Envelopes in the pews. You can also donate using the secure portal on our website.

Please contact the Church Rectory office if you are interested in lighting the Sanctuary Lamp for a loved one, purchasing the Altar Flowers or having a Mass said for a loved one. These are beautiful ways to remember and celebrate special people in our lives. Please consider honoring your loved ones, both living and deceased. Having a Mass said for our deceased loved ones, a loved one suffering from illness or possibly battling something in their life is a beautiful gift to give to them; more so, any individual can ask for Mass to be celebrated for special intention.

The Music & Fine Arts Ministry Program of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cathedral under the direction of Terry Maddox presents "Lenten Lessons and Reflections” on Sunday, March 22nd at 4:00 pm.
